The family of Grandma Bette

Bette Lorraine Johnson, Formerly of Apple Valley, MN, died peacefully in her daughter's home on 8/17/09. Bette left behind many friends and family members who will miss her dearly. Once Bette made a friend, she kept them for life, as many of you know. She kept in touched via phone or mail with those she knew and loved. She spent most of her life in the Twin Cities, however, for 17 years, she and her now deceased husband, Ernest M. Johnson, lived in Kimball, MN in semi retirement, until they moved back to the Twin Cities in the early nineties

Ann Robinson needs are prayers today as she is going in for some procedures and is hoping to not need further sugery.

Pastor Bieber and Judy As they say good bye to Rodney's father who was 101 years old.He passed away yesteday.

Keri's niece Mia tripped over a dog leash resulting in a spiral break from her knee to her ankle. She is 5 yrs old and in a cast from her thigh down.

Blaine as he is traveling back from Wyo, and the pickup he is driving is not running right.

Verda that she heals from her toe surgery quickly and with minimal pain

I Thessalonians 4:13-17
Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. and family would greatly appreciate prayers as they grieve the loss of Meredith's sister, Marilyn, who passed away Sat night. We pray that God's Peace and Strength is with them to carry them through this difficult time.

Norma West

needs our prayers. She is in the hospital right now with several major infections as well as a mass that might be cancerous.

Tell us what is on your heart

This afternoon I read a chapter titled "Defeating Temptation."

1 Cor 10:13 says something like this:
"Remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. God is Faithful He will keep the tempation from becoming so strong that you can't stand up against it. When you are tempted, he wull show you a way out so that you will not give in to it."

The whole chapter was very good, talking about how we need to resist the Devil and turn our mind to other topics when we are struggling with something and also how we can fight the devil with scripture... Challenging the reader to memorize a new verse every week for the rest of our lives...think how much stronger you will be!!

Question to Consider Who could I ask to be a spiritual partner to help me defeat a persistent temptation by praying for me?

It is my prayer that this page will make it easier to share our struggels our Praises and whatever is on our hearts with each other so that we can pray for each other daily.
